Charismatic Megafauna celebrates the magnificent beauty of some of the world’s largest and most spectacular species. Mankind’s fascination with the surrounding wilderness began over 30,000 years ago, leaving stories painted on rocks and caves throughout the world in Indonesia, Africa, Australia, Europe, and the Americas. The grace, beauty, and mysticism of our earth’s beasts continue to amaze, fascinate, and compel us today. From majestic wolves to powerful tigers and elephants, this year-end show explores the many different and fantastical ways contemporary artists draw inspiration and beauty from the animal kingdom.
